This Searl nonsense has been going on for over 50 years. In the sixties, he persuaded his neighbors to go into the local woods every weekend and build a full-size (whatever that would be!) flying saucer. He then sent photographs, to the local newspaper, which appeared to show it flying. I have interviewed his then-neighbors, and they told me that these were simply pictures of an even smaller model, hanging from a thread. When people wanted to see the 'flying' flying saucer, he claimed that he had sent it into outer space 'for safety'. Of course, this was at the height of the 'cold war'. The idea that anybody could fly anything unusual without triggering a nuclear alert was laughable.

In the pictures you can clearly see that a man can not sit in it, there is not enough space in it! If it was Flying we could have clearly seen some one flying it!

2nd thing is that - He is standing down! who the hell is Flying it ?

During all of this time, he was by-passing the electricity meter at his house. When he was caught, they threw him into jail; 'even though' he had explained that his consumption was low because he was using his perpetual motion machine to provide power. When he got out of jail, he was so annoyed with the electricity suppliers that he tried to saw through one of their 400kV pylons. This could have blacked out a lot of southern England, and might have caused thousands of incidental injuries; so they locked him up again.

He disappeared for a while, but was then brought 'out of retirement' by a Luis Jarillo. Searl then started collecting money so that he could re-make his 'magic' magnets (whose composition he had forgotten). This did not pay off, and he was made bankrupt in 1995. He was banned from being a company director for 5 years, but nevertheless continued to be one (using a friend's address as 'disguise' - how many Prof. J.R.R.Searls can there BE in the UK?). Of course, he has no right to call himself Professor. Neither does he have the right to wear an airforce officer's uniform. He claims to hold a pilot's license, but I have not yet checked that. I believe him to be mentally ill but, like other mentally ill people in history, he has a strange gift of being able to inspire more intelligent followers to do stupid things. I am glad that he never founded a religion instead! BTW, Dr Moore is a properly qualified medical man who has chosen to specialize in homoeopathy. Since the latter is also contrary to several scientific laws, his believing Searl is probably not that much of a surprise. Some years ago, Searl's erstwhile friends (including Jarillo) 'stole' the SEG idea and set up their own company to market (sic) it.

Believe it or not, some idiot has given them £250000 as research funding!

Notice that they cant explain any thing very well - they just play with words.

If you closely look at it, you can see that its actually Electric motor, without a solid Stator! The coils can move freely. And they Move only when a Voltage is applied to the coils.
